I slept off my Black Friday shopping hangover only to wake up to an Amazon notification that its Cyber Monday deals were live and I was already missing out on the best deals. Amazon actually set its sights on Cyber Monday days ago when it revealed its full list of deals for Monday, Dec. 2 -- except they actually started on Saturday. Amazon is essentially carrying over its Black Friday deals on through to Cyber Monday with the big exception that the Echo Show 8 is on sale for $80 -- its lowest price so far at $50 off.
You can track all of the Cyber Monday deals on Amazon's holiday page. There you'll find a mixture of Amazon's own devices (Kindles, Fire tablets, Echo screens and speakers) and various other sale items.
Cyber Monday Amazon device sales
Many of these deals are available right now. Indeed, just about everything here is a continuation of the discounts leading up to Black Friday. Even so, these remain some of the best prices of the year (or best since Prime Day, at least) on Echo speakers and smart displays, Kindle readers, Fire TV streamers and other first-party Amazon devices.

These deals on non-Amazon devices are taken straight from the Amazon press release. Some are live now while others will be available on Cyber Monday.
The Black Friday sales are still going and the Cyber Monday deals are heating up. In Nintendo Switch Land, it's a post-apocalyptic wasteland of expired deals and sold out stock. Virtually all of the deals and bundles are gone, but if you're in the market for a Switch Lite, we can still save you $25. GameStop is offering the Lite for its regular price, $200, but is including a $25 gift coupon, which is nearly the same thing as saving 25 bucks. If you buy online, the coupon code will be emailed within a day after you receive an order confirmation email, In-store customers will get the code printed on their receipt. Either way, you can redeem it through the month of January 2020. Move fast -- this is "while supplies last."
And now Amazon is matching that offer, too: Use code UUDDLRLRBA at checkout, and it'll send you a $25 credit within a week.

As the cyber weekend continues, Small Business Saturday, a day to support smaller retailers, had pulled in $470 million, as of 9 am ET.
And the shopping sprees are far from over, giving a boost to retailers. Cyber Monday is poised to be even bigger. Adobe is projecting $9.4 billion in online sales. It anticipates that the last few hours of Cyber Monday will attract a lot of sales from people unwilling to miss out on deals.
Woosley estimates that consumers will spend $29 billion online between Thursday and Monday. That five-day "Cyber Week" period should account for a 20% chunk of the $143.8 billion in online sales Adobe predicted for this holiday season.
The most-popular items being tossed into the virtual carts included Frozen 2, NERF, and Paw Patrol toys; video games "FIFA 20," "Madden 20," and Nintendo Switch; and electronics including Apple laptops, AirPods and Samsung TVs, according to Adobe.
Retail sales at brick-and-mortar stores are expected to grow 2% in November and 6% in December, thanks to favorable weather and a "year-end surge" in disposable income," according to IBM, which utilizes artificial intelligence to analyze US Census and retail data.
In New York, on Black Friday, customers crowded brick-and-mortar shops, even as many ordered online and picked up purchases in stores — a way to bypass long checkout lines.
Buying online and picking up in store transactions grew 43.2% this year, meaning retailers have been able to connect their offline and online operations, Adobe said.
Even more were shopping online and on smartphones. While the streets around New York City shopping districts looked tame enough, stores like Japanese retailer Uniqlo and Israeli brand Adika that offered steep discounts saw packed crowds with little room to maneuver.

If there’s ever a time during the year to lose hope in all humanity, it’s on Black Friday.
Year after year, eager shoppers flock to department stores in hopes of getting their hands on discounted items for the holiday season. Unfortunately, a day intended for jolly shopping has developed a reputation for naughty behavior.
This year was no different, as several violent incidents across the country were caught on camera.
A fight outside of a Forever 21 store at the Lehigh Valley Mall in Pennsylvania on Thursday night was caught on video and shared on Facebook. At least five young men, possibly teenagers, are seen brawling as security guards attempt to break up the melee, but to no avail.
Two men were initially involved in a fistfight when a third man jumped in to deliver a number of blows to his victim. At least two other men are then seen getting into the fray. It’s not clear what ignited the Thanksgiving Day brawl.
Samuel Safadi, who filmed the fight, said security eventually separated the men and no one was arrested.
Another fight was caught on video at a Walmart store in Murrieta, California, where two men came to blows in the gift aisle.
“All this for wrapping paper,” a bystander appears to say in the background as the unidentified men violently tussle.
Turns out, the fight between the two men – one an active Marine and the other a retired Marine – was reportedly not over wrapping paper, but apparently over simple etiquette, according to The Press-Enterprise.
The men were waiting in the checkout line when an elderly woman apparently bumped into one of the men with her shopping cart, which prompted one of the men to make a comment. The other man reportedly scolded him and demanded that he respect his elder. That’s when they began to brawl.
A security guard is seen eventually breaking up the fight, which resulted in one of the men suffering a broken nose. No arrests were made because neither of the men asked to press charges.
In a third instance, the aftermath of an apparent brawl between two women at a Walmart in Hendersonville, Texas, was also caught on video. Walmart employees and security are seen breaking up a group of shoppers amid a chaotic scene, in which one woman’s hair is clearly disheveled from the fight.
“She hit me first,” the woman said after things got under control.
Walmart shopper Angel Garcia decided to take a few selfies inside a Dallas store when he encountered a group of customers duking it out for a flat-screen TV.
"Took selfies w/the Black Friday fight at Walmart," Garcia tweeted alongside three pictures showing part of his face and the mayhem going on behind him.
His post garnered a few funny reactions from Twitter users, with one person crowning him “iconic” for the comical selfies.
"Welcome to the royal rumble of shopping," another Twitter user commented.
One person shared a zoomed-in image of a young girl watching the battle go down. “Homegirl just wants her damn tv..,” the person tweeted.
In a less violent, but all the more ridiculous scrummage, two women at an undisclosed Walmart were caught on video getting into a tussling match over a Shark vacuum cleaner.
Okay, Black Friday 2019 is officially on the books! At least, the calendar date is; the Black Friday sales continue. In fact, we awoke this morning to find the following gem had been added to the mix: The Apple iPad 10.2 for $229.99 at Target, officially the lowest price ever on that 2019 model.

Apple's latest, greatest MacBook Air frequently is on sale for $900. Earlier this week, you could get it for as little as $800, but that deal is gone with the wind. Still, this is $200 less than you'd pay at the Apple Store right now.

If you're a newcomer to Amazon's music-streaming service, it's hard to beat a buck for four full months of service. After that, you'll pay the regular rate of $9.99 per month, though you can cancel if you like, without penalty.

Already a pretty amazing deal at $99, the RemoBell S is an attractive, hardwired doorbell designed to take the place of your existing bell. I've been using one for about six months, and while I still don't love the forced fisheye view of recorded videos, overall the doorbell has worked really well. And I absolutely do love the free cloud storage.
Mint Mobile
Borrowing a page from McDonald's, which now charges the same price for any size drink, Mint Mobile will sell you any of its 3-month plans for $15 per month. Why? Tough to say, but the obvious winner here is the 12GB option, which normally runs $25 per month (already an excellent deal).
For those unfamiliar with the carrier, Mint offers service for GSM-compatible phones (otherwise known as those compatible with AT&T and T-Mobile). You pay in either three-, six- or 12-month blocks.
Tip: There's currently a $20 cash-back option available from both Rakuten and TopCashback, but the terms are really confusing. (Anyone who's able to figure them out, leave a comment.)

When Lenovo introduced the IdeaPad 330s last year, it started at $500. Now, you can get a nice midrange configuration -- with a quad-core AMD processor, a 256GB SSD and 8GB of RAM -- for under $300. Equipped with a nice 15.6-inch display, the 330s has thinner-than-usual bezels and an aluminum lid. This is a good deal on a solid entry-level laptop. A 65-inch TV for $360? Seems like only yesterday that would have been considered a steal on a 55-inch model. It's an entry-level model, to be sure, with no smarts built in; you'll have to BYO Fire TV or Roku streamer. Thankfully, it has four HDMI inputs, so there's plenty of room for all the gear you might want to plug in.

And, hey, same deal: If you're not happy with it, you can take it back to the store.

This is the lowest price to date on Amazon's kid-friendly tablet, which includes a heavy-duty case (with stand) and two-year worry-free warranty. You also get a year of Amazon FreeTime Unlimited, a $36 value. The tablet is available with your choice of three case colors: blue, pink and purple.
You can also get the Fire HD 8 Kids Edition Tablet for $80, which is $50 off the regular price. It's slightly faster and slightly larger, but otherwise pretty much the same experience for your kids.

Black Friday always falls on the day after Thanksgiving. This year, it takes place on Friday, Nov. 29.
When is Cyber Monday 2019?
It falls the Monday after Black Friday -- in this case, Monday, Dec. 2.
When will Black Friday sales actually start?
It varies from store to store, but expect to see plenty of sales that kick off well before Thanksgiving. Indeed, some stores unveil "Black November" sales that span the entire month, while others will kick-start their Black Friday events early. We'll post all the details as we get them.
Why is it called 'Black Friday'?
This is borderline urban-legend stuff. Some say Black Friday dates back to the early 1950s, when stores would kick off the Christmas shopping season with big sales. So big, in fact, that annual store profits would often tip into "the black" (meaning no longer "in the red," which is accounting parlance for losing money) once all the receipts were tallied. Or: So big that traffic would get so snarled, policemen dubbed the day "Black Friday."
In years past, a variety of Black Friday sites have dedicated themselves to revealing leaked newspaper circulars in the days and weeks ahead of the big Thanksgiving sales. Those are all still around, but many of the big stores have chosen to "leak" the ads on their own sites, revealing the contents of what will be on sale for bargain hunters who like to plan ahead.
Last year, some stores shared these ads as early as late October, and there's no reason to think this year will be any different. As always, we'll be keeping a close eye on Black Friday ads, sharing them as we find them, so bookmark this post and check CNET proper for all the relevant ad info.
