Worcester Library Offers Math, Computer Classes For Adults - Worcester, MA Patch

WORCESTER, MA — A series of free drop-in classes for adults on computer programming and math begin this week at the main branch of the Worcester Public Library. The classes are for anyone 18 or older, and will be taught by professionals.

Here's more from a Worcester Public Library press release:

The Worcester Library will offer math and computer programming tutoring for adult learners on Wednesdays — Jan. 22, Feb. 12, and Feb. 26 — from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Main Library, 3 Salem Square. The program is for adults ages 18 and up who need extra help with math or computer programming. The volunteer instructor for the sessions is an experienced math tutor and computer programmer.

"For adult learners, if you want to get a better grade for your math and computer
classes, or if you are trying to learn new skills to prepare for a career change, this is a
great opportunity to get one-on-one help," said Pingsheng Chen, WPL Public Services
Coordinator.

The drop-in tutoring sessions are designed to help adult learners with homework, test preparation, and self-study. No appointment is required during these drop-in hours. The program is free and open to the public.
